If you are a techno-expert, here is a tip. When somebody that doesn’t usually talk to you seeks your advice, ask them how much they have to spend. Once this is known, make your recommendation based on this. Do not, under any circumstances, begin to explain what other things you have considered or suggest that they really need to spend more. Believe me, they don’t. They would actually like to spend much less.
